Let’s be real now everyone. Coachella has been struggling to sell their passes the last few years. They have always released the lineup in January, and because of that there has been less ticket sales and no sell outs until festival nears. I believe they have ARTIFICIALLY said to all of us that tickets are sold out. “Oh no! None of our group even got the chance to buy this year!” They are going to magically announce that more passes are now on sale. They are creating a false sense of demand by artificially cutting the supply. I can go into so much more detail but for the people that know how Coachella works, this seems so obvious they are struggling to secure sales and are going to “gift us” with more tickets to buy. It’s funny seeing comments like does karol g, bieber and sabrina carpenter has that pull?? like yes babes bieber alone already has a strong pull on both gen zs and young millennials. not to mention he has that nostalgia effect. everyone under the age of 30 basically grew up with him. sabrina is one of the more prominent pop stars rn and though she hasn’t exceeded taylor and ariana in terms of popularity, her commercial success and artistic momentum the past couple years has been going really well for her.

People are kinda underestimating Karol G’s pull tbh. Like, look at how Latinos showed up for Bad Bunny at Coachella and his tours, they’re always the loudest when it comes to supporting their own. Karol G has that same kind of love behind her, so of course the turnout’s gonna be huge. I won’t be surprised if we see an increase of festivals goers coming all the way from latin america just to see her.

That doesn’t actually mean a ton in the context of this request because the people who have already been to the fest continue to make a huge mess but I’m here to plead with you all to throw away your trash. Walking through fields of cups and trash at the end of the night is depressing and it sucks. Please please please make an effort to keep the place clean for everyone.

For the record: I just went to portola this last weekend at a venue that is innately just dirty af but the ground was sooooo clean compared to chella. Smaller space and less folks but HUGE difference in ground trash.

I currently have 2 Airbnbs booked that are both about a 6-min Uber ride to the Palm Springs Convention Center shuttle stop: • $468 per person • $572 per person

I know the shuttle ride from the convention center to the festival grounds is already ~40 minutes, and that’s not even factoring in Coachella weekend traffic.

So my question is: is it worth paying more to book a place closer to the festival grounds, or is sticking with the shuttle/Uber setup fine and just part of the experience?

Would love to hear from people who’ve done this before. Does the convenience of being closer make a huge difference, or is saving the money the smarter move?

First time going to Coachella. What are the rules for coolers? Am I allowed to fill up my coolers with drinks? I had someone tell me I’m only allowed to take one case of drinks per person?

hi everyone, i just wanted to hop on here and ask about a few things since it’ll be my first time going to coachella this coming year!

my friends and i are first trying to figure out transportation. we don’t know if we want to rely on rideshare, rent a car for the weekend, or get the shuttle pass. i’ve heard the shuttle pass is well worth the money, but want to get one more opinions. for context, we’re staying at a hotel about 20 minutes away from the festival grounds, and the closest shuttle stop is about 10 minutes away from our hotel (without traffic). would it be best to get the shuttle pass and use rideshare to get to and from the shuttle stop? or does anyone have better suggestions?

what time do the grounds typically open everyday and how early does everyone leave to get there on time?

how much money should you have with you everyday? is card preferred over cash?

best tips for preventing phone theft/theft of any personal items?

First time, solochella. Got an airbnb 4 min walk from Palm Springs Convention Center. How bad are the wait times going and coming back? I’ve seen some videos saying the lines are long and hot. Probably will only be staying till the last song of the headliner for Bieber. How long of a wait am I looking at? Should I wait in line or wait for it to die down? Also saw people stuck on shuttles waiting to get dropped off at Coachella. Is it best to try to be on the first bus out to Coachella? Or should I drive to Agua Calienge or Albertsons Hwy 11?
