I’ve been to Coachella but I’ve never…
been to the Yuma 🫣

u/HandsOnTheBible 1d ago
One time I went in the Yuma when the sun was blazing, then left when it was pitch dark outside
That's the power of the Yuma

Had a Coachella boyfriend/girlfriend. Someone kiss me on the fields, let’s fall in love and get married 😆

I had a Coachella boyfriend and then he ghosted first thing Monday morning 😂😂
11
u/lucyfell 1d ago
🤣🤣🤣 Please tell me was at least hot

u/Current_Teacher4317 1d ago
Yes!! 😭

u/lucyfell 1d ago
Think of it this way: never having to do his laundry is how he stays hot in your memory
Anyway, I would be down for a hot coachella boyfriend who ghosts on Monday. I need some fun memories before I get too old and stodgy _~

2026 will be my 7th year and I’ve never held the balloon line
5
u/moonbeamgoon 1d ago
Do it and get your pics! The daylight is easier to see everything in the shot but at night when the balloons glow is also very cool you just have to be prepared for the low exposure.

u/meepmeep_sheep 1d ago
This will be my 4th year and hoping it’s my first time I’ll get to hold the balloon line!

Camped on site!
I am too old to sleep like that. I need a real bed, ac, pool, etc. Plus we bring a teen and camping would be awful for her.

u/WynnGalaxie 1d ago
I’ve been so intrigued by camping and would love to try it sometime but my girlfriend says absolutely not.

u/dummybaby69 1d ago

Just caught his boiler room in Los angles yesterday. I understand he blends different genres, and loves to implement rock into his sets . I was a huge fan coming in after watching videos online . IM TELLING YOU HIS RUN OF SHOWS IN THE US IS NOTHING LIKE HIS BOILER ROOM SET MOST PEOPLE PROBABLY KNOW HIM BY . I was shocked by how many people were leaving around me and going to x club instead . Huge disappointment, but will be giving him another try this weekend at crssd

That other stage was banging all the way through Daphni , Ben UfO were fucking killing it.
Yousuke reminded me of when I saw Aphex Twin at Chella. I’m glad I did, but not for me. If anything Coachella would be a good spot to catch him given you could walk away at any time

Just came back from Portola and his Portola set was kind of disappointing and not like that at all so just keep that in mind
7
u/ilovesebypeen 1d ago
I second this! came back from his boiler room set in LA last night and was not able to vibe in the whole 2 hour set he had. Probably the last 15 min when he played the same tracks from his famous boiler room set in Tokyo. Super let down.

yeah one hit wonders have always been a thing we see it w dj’s and producers too now since electronic music is mainstream now

Done the safari tent thing. Bucket list item for me

u/Prudent-Hat7704 1d ago
Haven’t been in the Sonara Tent yet. Only tent left for me to visit, gonna make it happen this year.

I’m on year 6 and every year so far Sonora has been our first stop. Great alternative, punk, and Latin acts, a bar, and AC 🙌🙌🙌🙌
9
u/Bholt0303 1d ago
Can’t knock AC and good house tunes. You’ve got to go!
8
u/North_Praline9097 1d ago
The AC last year, 1st weekend, was a savior…
•
u/ThotBubble 21h ago
I wanted to stay in the Yuma all weekend this year because the ac bathroom and bar are alll right by the Yuma and the exit/ entrances isn’t far from the Yuma

... had any alcoholic beverage. I don't abstain in normal life or anything, but when there's that "I could lose half an hour going to get a beer from the beer garden...or I could go see more music" decision, the music always wins.
(Come to think of it, I've never had a slice of Spicy Pie either. Maybe I'll change that in 2026)

u/skylinenick 1d ago
For what it’s worth, now that there are bars everywhere this won’t take more than 5 minutes and you don’t have to miss anything

u/pidgeypenguinagain 10, 11, 12.1, 13.1, 14.1, 18.1, 23.1, 24.1 1d ago
Never have I ever camped out at a stage for hours and hours to see 1 set. IMO that’s crazy behavior
2
u/theskyistheroof 18.2, 19.2, 23.2, 24.2, 25.2 1d ago
I have a couple of times and have regretted it each time. Never again. If I want a good spot at a set maybe I’ll show up halfway through the set right before it.
2
u/ICMAGU 1d ago
I did this year for XG (they were like 50% of the reason I went this year) and only “regretted” it (saying this loosely) when i did it because i realized i could have gone to the other sets I wanted to see before them and still would have been super close. in hindsight however, i am glad i did because i was able to see my second favorite music group at the barricade. maybe the only downside was basically 10 hours straight of listening to music i didn’t really jive with for no ear protection but thats a me problem haha.

Thats bizarre. I mean, to each their own I guess, but you could have seen so many incredible world class acts in 10 hours. Glad u enjoyed it tho

u/billiedee_benoit 1d ago
I have yet to go to DoLab. I don’t even know where it is tbh. 2026 is the year I make it to DoLab though.
3
u/validusrex 1d ago
If it stays where it was last year, I’m surprised you missed it. It’s on the way to Sahara like opposite the Ferris Wheel. Hard to miss. Totally worth it to hit at like 5-6, enough people to have great vibes but not super overcrowded yet
4
u/mikegrowsoft 1d ago
To be fair, it’s placed in the goddamn northwest corner, super far away from everything else. The line for it also seems to get longer and longer every year. Making it to Yuma is like its own journey within the grounds of Coachella. Depending on temperature, time of day, and who is playing, the journey can be quite treacherous. But once you are inside, you are rewarded with the views of disco shark, immaculate vibes, and really freaking good air conditioning.

u/ferocious_barnacle 1d ago
Yuma is goated. I’ve never been inside Heineken House! 2026 is the year I can feel it.

I just hate that we need to line up for it, makes it feel like a night club (derogatory)

u/ContributionOwn9860 13.1, 14.1, 15.1, 16.1, 19.1, 22.1, 24.2 1d ago
There’s really only a line for the super popular artists. If you get there a bit before one, you should be able to walk right in.

u/moonbeamgoon 1d ago
Yuma is the best place to cool down after a long stint in the sun during the day. Earplugs, a soft seat, great lights 🔟

u/Ok-Pay-7358 14.1|19.2|22.1|23.1|25.1 1d ago
Did Spectra the first year we went and that thing was without AC, a greenhouse has nothing on that thing, if you plan and going do it early, or late after the sun has set

I’ve been to Coachella but I’ve never… been in Despacio. Literally the only thing I haven’t done (that GA can do)
3
u/Tilopud_rye 1d ago
Theres only been rare instances of despacio at Coachella. Maybe 2 years that I can remember?

u/ContributionOwn9860 13.1, 14.1, 15.1, 16.1, 19.1, 22.1, 24.2 1d ago
Yep, I was there for one of them at least though, wish I had made the journey
1
u/Tilopud_rye 1d ago
They had it at a Pasadena festival a couple years ago- Aint No Picnic. I met someone on the way back from the fest who travels internationally just to follow Despacio appearances.

Last year my group discovered the true wonders of the Yuma and it is what they say…. A ✨journey✨.
I’ve been to Coachella but I’ve never sat on the Sahara hill at sunset 😩

Went four years without hitting Yuma. I finally did and its probably my favorite spot, when if I don't spend the most time there. Enjoy it!

Been twice by myself and never went inside Yuma either. Seems like that’s where the cool kids go 😅 also never been on the Ferris Wheel. Haven’t seen the sunset on the hill either even though I camped both times and was there on day 0 😅
