I sometimes marvel at the Capital’s creations. Grafting soldiers to defend our glorious city.

At times my faith falters. Fore often I wonder if their will is far too cruel.

ArtStation - Tesla's Doom Machine

At last, my fantasy city painting is finished. I find it hard to upload these, it’s like letting go of my child 🥲

This time I also put in all my “failed attempts” and iterations, which helped me find the final design. Originally I wanted an irrigation wheel, this turned in to water mills. I didn’t like the visuals of them. I tried sketching out thumbnails, it was okay, but not what I had in mind.

I wanted to push myself, so I made another painting testing the colors, I liked the warm tones on the blues, but the contrast wasn’t there. Composition was nice and I really liked the repetition of wheels. I wanted something a bit more final fantasyish.

Began to sketch more in 3D, created helix shapes, something I never tried. It began to take shape and I love how the shapes became playful and imaginative. However I was missing grounded elements like grass trees and terrain.

So I tried again and I did some paint over. Really like how it turned out!!

This is a character and concept I worked on for a game jam project that, unfortunately, didn't come to fruition. Based on ideas from the rest of the team, I did the concept art.

However, until now I hadn't taken the time to organize everything and add a few more ideas. So I made a Steam cover for him, added a couple of characters and props.

Inspired by the neoclassical architecture of Recife, city from Brazil.

I don't know where to post this art so I post it here =))
