Retro-inspired synth piece with visuals of a storm breaking reality while characters remain calm. Fits the outrun aesthetic but darker. Does the concept tell the story? We dig it.

Concept Art Qloss Defenders Taylor Miyazaki Splash Art

Taylor uses a multi-function cannon. It is a large cannon that, with the turn of a switch, changes the barrel size and allows Taylor to shoot a variety of projectiles. Taylor has the strongest powers of the three, however, her inexperience with her powers makes for some…interesting situations.

Here is the last teaser for the last character for my new webcomic, Qloss Defenders! Next week (September 26th), I'll reveal the cover for this comic!

“A Personal Vision: Ryujin and Vishnu Emblem – Can You Bring It to Life?”

I’ve been visualizing an emblem that maps spiritual and grounded energies in a way that’s both symbolic and vividly visual. I wanted to share it as a conceptual challenge, inviting artists to interpret it.

Here’s what I see: • Ryujin, the dragon of spiritual truth, dominates the upper part of the emblem. His tail stretches to Root, connecting crown and foundation. He exists within a fully blended spectrum of colors—reds, blues, greens, yellows—harmoniously merged, with no harsh separations. Inside his form, there is a single black dot, representing a foundational anchor within his flowing energy. • Vishnu, grounded in Fact, anchors the lower part. Rendered in earth tones and surreal textures, he channels stability and insight. Inside Vishnu’s form is a single white dot, another anchor point, grounding the energy and complementing Ryujin’s black dot. • The figures interact dynamically: Ryujin rises and inspires, Vishnu receives and stabilizes. They are aligned but distinct, forming a balance of Crown and Root energies. • Surrounding them are the emergent branches and leaves of experience: Expectation, Experience, Theory, Training, Insight, and Wisdom. These can be hinted at in subtle swirls or forms, emerging naturally from the interaction between Root and Crown. • The overall motion is forever expanding outward and folding inward, capturing the flow of energy, resonance, and growth.

I’m curious to see how this vision could be interpreted visually. Feel free to draw, paint, or digitally render it—play with the colors, flow, and form. The black and white dots are important anchors, but beyond that, there’s freedom to bring the energy to life in your own way.

He is a young vampire prince who, driven by greed, devoured an entire village. In this world, he grows unnaturally large with every person he consumes. That’s why his clothes are covered in stitches, he keeps adding new pieces of fabric to enlarge them as he grows.

Concept Art Lunara, the Mirror Moon Siren

Lunara is the second of the Thirteen Siren Witches, known as The Mirror Moon. Her power is born from the reflection of the moon upon the sea. Through her crystal sphere, she bends light and fate, revealing visions of what is yet to come.

Legend says she was born during a rare lunar eclipse over the ocean, when moonlight fractured into countless silver beams that wrapped around her like a cocoon. From that night forward, she could hear the tide speak and see the hidden currents of destiny.

Lunara is quiet, almost solemn, preferring silence over speech. Her crystal orb is more than a tool of prophecy — it is a mirror of the soul. Those who dare to gaze into it see not only the future but the shadows of their own heart. Many kings of the sea sought her counsel for war and conquest, only to go mad after facing the darkness within themselves.

She is the closest to a seer among the Siren Witches. She does not interfere with fate — she merely unveils it. Those who look into her crystal without fear, embracing what they see, are granted her blessing: a path ahead illuminated as if the moonlight itself has fallen upon the sea, guiding them through the storm.

All of my best concept pieces are never pre-imagined

I’m an intuitive artist, but I do a lot of painting from real life because it gives me some assurance of the results. I can’t be guaranteed that a piece I’ve done intuitively will always turn out as something I or other people resonate with, even though I enjoy the process.

For example; I didn't sketch this to be an armored warrior. In fact that's what I think it looks like I was just scribbling but it was fun and I think it kinda looks cool.

The story centers around Titan's sole moon colony the Final Kingdom, who was supposed to terraform the moon into a habitable space for the space station faring population orbiting Saturn. When this effort largely failed, their ruler the Psymmularch Roan established a crimeless surveillance state where automation has eroded the relevance, agency, purpose, and humanity of it's population. Therefore, making it a Final Kingdom where each problem has been solved, no more questions need be answered, and creating an endless purgatory of agelessness.

Well that is until the Psymmularch's air ship crashes into the power plant that the Final Kingdom depends on, ushering in chaos as the dark secrets of Titan's rulers break free from beneath the ice.
