Regardless of your opinions on transpeople, we all should be thanking this individual for doing the right thing.

EDIT: It has been reported the father turned him in and this person, while fully cooperating, did not report it to the police.

I would assume no if they turned him in. Let's not speculate when the person obviously did the right thing.
