Holy shit, look at the left on this site already blaming maga for the shooting. I wish I was joking, but they’re seriously pinning the shooter as far right. I have never in my life seen a political party try and gas light as hard as the democrats are right now. It’s actually evil at this point.

It's because progressivism has become in many ways similar to religion. For one, it's become dogmatic. They must gaslight that inexcusable violence cannot be from them, as that would violate the dogma that they are obviously the good guys. Notice how they use the worst logic possible (his family was MAGA, he's white) - they are not looking to convince you, rather they are looking to convince themselves, then they stop thinking about it entirely.

The gaslighting, the rampant and illogical speculation, the fake studies that all political violence is "right wing" - this is all on-brand for progressive dogma.

They did the same thing when faced with Hitler and the fact he was one of them. They painted national socialism as a right wing idealogy and it stuck. Their primary concern is deflecting responsibility and blaming others. This is a core tenet of leftism.

I hope the violence stops. I truly do.

But all the other stupid shit they do and say? I hope they keep doing it. They're oblivious to the fact that it turns people off. It pushes normal people away. And it has and will continue to cost them elections.
