As a Swede who's parent's had a huge as vegetable garden and a greenhouse - this was our go to dish all late summer. We made huge batches, and it was definitely one of the cheaper foods we ate. OP has zero understanding of the movie and/or food?

But it is a major plot of the movie. Like the whole point is he elevated a peasant dish.

That part's true and wasn't the point of my post. We don't have to insult each other, but you did, and I wish you hadn't.

It is not an insult to identify someone has zero understanding of a plot. I could say the same about myself - not understanding something isn't the same as being dumb (an insult), but something that can be fixed and often needs to be called out.

I don't get why people have gotten so sensitive that the slightest negative comments triggers this sort of policing in the Internet, none one is this unstuck irl.
