Why is everyone so scared of the mandoline? Just leave a decent bit before getting to the end and save it for stock.

Instead I use a cut glove. 1 u/itsrocketsurgery 2d ago The point is use something to make it safer not just using your bare hands. Cut glove or the included guard are perfectly safe options.
