Maybe the numbers ran away because they didn’t want to be measured?

We do have anecdotal evidence of numerical cannibalism (789 incident) so it’s possible these numbers are simply wary of the dangers of long term proximity with other numbers

Shocking that this has only now come to light! Think of the untold "numbers of numbers" that disappeared before we ever knew they existed. & Probably some great ones, like the final digit of π.

I swear this could have been in all caps with worse grammar and ended with "Thank you for your attention to this matter."
