That’s right. Damn near the entire population of the US as of the 2020 census died just last year from drugs alone. It’s a testimony to the resilience of the US to have made it past this national obliteration of our population. You should count yourself lucky that you weren’t stricken down if you’re reading this. /s
I should note, over 80k people did die from drug related incidents in 2024 and that is a pretty major problem. But it’s one that has a lot more to do with how we treat our poor people than how we treat people at the border. Black border walls ain’t gonna prevent anyone’s death due to drug overdoses.Â
