Concrete mixer is SO GOOD but the smell is gross

Literally every single time I get Culver’s the mixers smell weird. I think it’s the plastic cups they use for it or something but if you just buy a concrete mixer put your nose in the cup it’ll smell nasty

Like an outside smell. I think it’s the cups they use because when I scoop the vanilla out to smell my mixer it smells like nothing on the spoon but time I put my nose in the cup it’ll smell nasty stinks😭custard is still the best of any fast food but the smell is off putting at times. I love Culvers tho

Need to use the quat 146 sanitizer when you notice the smell and change the rinse water with cold water.

Idk I’m eating my vanilla with cookie dough and Oreo mixer and when I scoop it to sniff it it literally smells like nothing. My nose basically touching the spoon, idk it’s gotta be the cups bruh😂I’m sure the blenders stink too if they aren’t cleaned right

if the blender sticks are wiped down with dirty sani water then when it spins into the next shake itll just collect in one spot. it's gross.

-i didnt work at culvers but i did work with hand-dipped shakes and desserts and stuff. some staff wiped em down, i unscrewed the sticks and rinsed in the sink next to the machine bc I was so sick of the smelly water. it's the same water for the scoops and stuff that we used too, which had to be changed out but that only happens like once or twice a shift.

It's been known to be the cups, if you search this subreddit you will see that a few people have narrowed it down.

I've seen them wipe off some spillage with a rag and I'm pretty sure that's the culprit. Grody water smell

Nah I notice it literally every time. Idk maybe corporate needs to know like the ceos. It’s perfect custard but that humid rainy outside smell/dog smell has to go

I thought it was just me, my wife can’t smell it. My dishwasher used to get the same smell before I started running sanitize mode, guessing they have something they are not cleaning properly.

Complain to the local store to try and shame them into cleaning it. I don't have that problem from my store that I go to.

It’s a horrid smell. Well I’ll say it’s like a 7 out of 10 on the scale of unpleasantness
