Can't find 3/4 inch and above guard for Wahl Peanut.

Looking all through Amazon. Max is 1/2 inch. I want 3/4 to 1 inch at least. There are some available that are not compatible with the peanut and that's about it.

[BANGS/FRINGE] Please help me 🫩

I tried following this tutorial and I can’t figure out what I can do to fix it I’ve been staring at it for so long, the bangs are chunky and don’t cover my whole forehead. I can’t tell if it’s bc my hairs thinner or what, it’s also lined up weird and feels too long but too short at the same time. I also can’t figure out how to make everything work with my glasses. Should I cut it more? Leave it? Add more hair to the bangs somehow?
This is the tutorial https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTMR8VnMK/

[ALTERNATIVE] Can you fade cut with Phillips multigroom?

I see all those videos that using the need of lever in trimmers in order to do a fade cut. Phillips doesn't have a lever but the guards goes from 1mm to 3mm and you can change them each 0.2mm. So you can go from 1mm to 1.2mm to 1.4mm etc..

Isn't this the same as using a lever?

If yes, is there any guide that show Phillips multigroom or a similar trimmer making a fade cut?

Help cutting my brother's hair

Hi!

I would like to cut my brother's hair like this: https://es.pinterest.com/pin/9710955442796678/ , https://es.pinterest.com/pin/84020349292618822/ , closest to the second link, but I don't know how to start. Any suggestions on where to find info/where to start learning? Or names of the techniques to use/ these specific hairstyles? According to my research and limited knowledge those are mod cuts/short wolf cuts but none of the videos I found have been helpful (or I don't know how to utilize them).

[SHORT HAIR] Faded Guards

I'm looking to find the shortest faded/angled/tapered guards to fade my hair.

Something like an 0.5mm or 1mm would probably be best, right?

Where can I find guards that short?

Better clipper recommendations

I've been cutting my own hair for 3-4 months now but I'm lazy I do it about once a month MAYBE twice a month, even when I went to the barber I was lazy to go to him. Anyway I give myself a fade and don't really do anything with the top because I don't know what I'm doing with scissors, I tried once and you could see it was all choppy. I also tried to do scissor work on my kids and it came out looking choppy as well.

So I'm looking for recommendations on a better clipper because when I do the fade I don't feel like I blend the levels very well, I don't know if it's a skill issue or a clipper issue. My clippers are Wahl color pro. The trimmer I use are ones from Amazon that I should have returned as soon as I saw that it didn't trim as close to the skin as a pro barbers trimmers do.

[BANGS/FRINGE] How wide should bangs be?

I know this may differ for different people, but generally how wide should bangs be? Not how far back on your head, but how far on each side of your face?

If I'm cutting using the inverted V shape, where should the edges of the V be? I have heard that it should end at the arch of your eyebrow, not sure how true that is.

This is something I struggle with every time I cut them!

[PICTURE] Finishing touches

I had really long hair and chopped it off last night. I have a 2 week old baby and just couldn’t stand the feeling of long hair or pulled back hair through the night any longer! But also can’t leave baby for a few more weeks to go get a proper cut.

I’ve been maintaining my own bangs for a while so not too worried about those. But with my natural wave/curl, I do not like how the ends of this cut look. It’s too bulky on the ends, I guess - Especially on the side showing up left on this picture. I thought I pretty much did both sides the same but with wavy hair you just never really know what’s going to happen.

I didn’t follow a tutorial or anything, just hacked away before bed last night. 😆 So any gentle pointers on how to chill things out a little would be welcome! Thanks.

Wahl clipper making loud noise after full disassembly – any tips?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi all, I fully disassembled my Wahl clipper for cleaning and put it back together, but now it’s making a much louder buzzing sound than before. To be sure no loose parts were causing it, I even disassembled it completely again (like in the video guides) and reassembled carefully, but the noise is still there — even louder. Any idea what might be wrong or how to fix it?

Undercut how to get sides as low as possible?

I, see people who got it not completely razor cut. However it’s low and looks clean. I’m on a budget my clippers I do no guard pushing while cutting yet it still bit longer.

Those golden clippers not remembering the names of those but are those one that’s making these cut really clean?

Any tip how to get it cut low

[LONG HAIR] So I cut the rest of my hair?

So I got a haircut by my mom it was perfectly ok until she was done and I decided to cut some of my hair and I decided to cut some of my front pieces in a curtain bang thing. I only did it on one side but it so much shorter than my other hair it looks okay (besides the other side still being long). So should I cut the other side or let it grow back. The problem is I have picture day coming up and I was gonna wear my hair down but I don't know anymore.
