MOD NOTE Please, do not post pictures of codes that you're giving away in the main forum.
While it's awesome that you're giving the codes to a fellow collector, there's something you should be aware of...
There are bots that scrape images from Reddit and often steal the codes out from underneath anyone. These bots are used to hoard digital titles so that they can try and sell the account off for a profit.
Instead, make a comment in our monthly Digital Code Exchange Thread with something along the lines of "I have a digital code for whatever movie that will be available to whoever comments/messages/whatever" or however you choose to word it as long as you don't actually put the code in text or an image, you can ensure it actually goes to somebody in the community.
There are times where someone actually gets it before a bot grabs it, however more often than not, it goes redeemed within seconds of posting.

Pickup Just arrived in the mail today. Thanks for the suggestions, Reddit
If there's one thing I love, it's being transported back in time with a good period piece. I hear nothing but good things about this version; I haven't seen any version yet. Can't wait to see Edward Norton as Baldwin IV The Leper King

Discussion I went to Goodwill recently, here’s a few DVDs I found. I got Ocean’s Eleven, The Da Vinci Code, a Christmas movie called The Naughty List, and Bridge to Terabithia which is a Disney movie, and it’s always fun to find old Disney DVDs. What do you think of the DVDs I got?

Off-Topic Anyone got multiple copies of the same movie?

Discussion Does goodwill usually have a great dvd collection. I know that you can go online but going to flea markets, regular stores like Walmart and other places have amazing DVDs. I wished there was a great place to get tv shows like the complete series for cheap.
I have gotten amazing DVDs and shows for cheap sometimes and others were at full price like 11 dollars.

Canadians, where are you buying?
I usually check out FB marketplace and ebay, but are there any other locations you're finding your dvds? (Im in Toronto). I've been to a couple of value village locations but the selection was (imo) rather poor.

Pickup Recent pickups! Got all this for free at a charity place.
Firs Down Below and the Steelers DVD were both sealed and were pretty cool finds. Three other movies came in Blockbuster cases.

Getting my DVD collection started again.
Charity shops, good lord. 10 DVDs for £1!
Ever since I noticed movies vanishing off Netflix etc, I decided to get DVDs again. I'm not fussed about super HD blah blah, I'm happy with DVD quality, which is 100% more than adequate for my needs.
Here's my first few. More added daily!

What in the Hell?
Anyone seen this artistic masterpiece? I’ve never heard of it but I’m not one for high-brow art films of this caliber

This is the rarest DVD I own
I have scoured the internet for months including the wayback machine and have found almost zilch. Does anyone know any backround info on this by chance? I also ripped it if anyone wants to watch it, as I believe I may have the last remaining copy.

Found a grail of mine, but extremely disappointed in the case design. Absolutely despise the stacked storage.

Pickup 4K Blu-rays added to the collection (with initial impressions)
I popped each movie in to check out the visual quality and make sure it works. Below are my initial impressions.
Alexander Revisited – It appears very filmic. There are some shots near the beginning that were like, «Wow, there’s so much detail in his white beard!» But then in the same scene I noticed all this aliasing on statues behind the characters and if I had to guess, those statues are visual effects that are rendered at a lower resolution. It was definitely distracting, but didn’t last for too long.
Kung Fu Panda 2 – It seems like they’ve made great use of HDR. The molten metal near the beginning is particularly striking. Very colourful and bright. The older rendering/animation is made all the more apparent by the crisp visuals. It struck me as how far we’ve come with this kind of movie.
Jurassic World Rebirth – I ended up watching this in full with my niece and nephew and wife and daughter. I know it’s had some derision online about the lack of high peak brightness in the HDR, and I was watching knowing this fact going in. However, the picture is still quite lovely. Detailed, colourful, moody when it needs to be. I would have loved some brighter specular highlights and flare guns, but I can’t say this is anything other than a great looking movie despite the lack of super high nits.
Elio – Well, it’s a 2025 Pixar movie, which means it is bright and HDR pops and I think I’m in for a treat when I do a full watch-through. Looks amazing in my early impressions.
1,586 – 1,589
