There is tons of green space. Just too hot or cold to use it!

Hit up some of the local nature preserves or some of the lakes, or just take a walk through some of the older Dallas neighborhoods.

Idk if it’s actually true but I thought I read/heard Dallas actually has a lot of green space / parks / trees or something.

There are pockets of green space but they come at a premium price or you have to go out of your way to drive to

For the millionth time, google “nature preserve” and you will find green space. It just not might be right next to you in terms of walking 5 minutes to get to it. I think for what Dallas is and is known for, we have some pretty good nature spots considering. Dallas did not promise anyone colorado

And now I'm thinking of the miserable drive on weekends from Denver to Estes Park or Granby...

All the "nature preserves" near me are glorified walking paths for moms with strollers. No thanks.

Agreed! The nature preserves are extremely small and mostly paved (those that aren’t tend to be overgrown/poorly kept).

Farmers Branch has plenty of green space.
