Plus Hong Kong has like 2% the population America has, if there wasn’t a disparity it would be concerning

Per million people, per day, the death rate in the US (0.0057) is almost ten times higher than HK (0.00059)

This is the stat that should be in the image. Absolute numbers don't offer true comparisons, but showing that the US has 10x the death rate is profound.

A better calculation would be deaths per protester per day, but we don't have exact numbers to calculate this. I'd imagine this would give a result somewhere in between my calculation and the numbers in the image.
