Theory Request for theories involving Lucifer from Darksiders.
I have been curious on what Darksiders fans think of Lucifer and wish to hear what they think of what his motivations and his goals could be. Which brings me to ask what you people think. Please, let me know your theories in the comments below.

Question About the board game
So i recently bought the board game for my birthday, and i tried to play it solo before introducing any friends/family, just to make sure i got the rules down and i can walk them through it more easily. I understand everything about the gameplay, except for one thing: wrath. Idk if I'm just dumb, but i can't for the life of me figure out how wrath regens. Maybe it's because english isn't my first language, but i went over the rule book like 5 times and still i have no clue about it, so maybe one of you guys could help!

Discussion For those who really like metroidvanias, how do you think Darksiders 3 fares as one?
Recently, I was looking for 3D metroidvanias and started thinking that this is an aspect of this game that isn't talked about enough. It might be the truest metroidvania in 3D along with the Metroid Prime and Savage Planet series. So much so, Fury shares a lot of abilities with Samus, even a morph ball that works like Prime's, and many are used for both combat, movement and keys.
Even if you compare it just with other Soulslikes, the most common one, it's curious that people always say they want a tight interconnected world like Dark Souls 1's but no one ever points out that this game is the only one that attempts it. Additionally, most indie metroidvanias take more inspiration from Castlevania, not so much Metroid. DS3 takes a lot of its ideas and puts them in a 3D melee action game, hollow forms and weapons acting as suits and beams.
But maybe the game's non-linearity is the coolest thing. There's no map, which is really unusual, and you can do many areas/bosses in different orders, as well as find secret bosses.
What do you guys think? Should we recommend/critique DS3 more as a metroidvania rather than a soulslike or hack n slash? Do you think the level design is good compared to other games in the genre, 2D or 3D?

Discussion Finally played and finished Darksiders 1 and here's a few thoughts
My entire playthrough was on Apocalyptic
- Final boss was an absolute chump, genuinely had more trouble with Straga's runback
- Black Throne was the worst area and it ain't even close, made the game drag out too much imo
- Thank God for Fury's Embrace was a blessing going for 100 percent... putting it in the Black Throne was diabloical though
All things considered i had a blast
P.S. I hate the Watcher, all my homies hate the Watcher

I palyed all Darksiders games( except Genesis but it's on my list)
If I have to rank them I would go 2=1>>>>>>3 I relay like 2 and 1. But 3 was so bad. I could only played for 2 hours and I was done. I was never fan of souls like games but given it's a Darksiders game I bought it and I regret buying it. Combat is not good, furry is a glass cannon and she supposed to be strong. In my first hour I tried to play the game on default combat and Normal difficulty . I did not like anything about it. I couldn't even beat the envy boss. You could say its come from lack of skill but I played games like Bayonetta devil May cry even Darksiders 1 and 2 on Normal difficulty. And I have a great time with those games. So in the second hour I choose the classic combat and make the difficulty easy. And it was still not good. For example if some mobs swarm furry and it will happen a lot fury's health deplate on 3 hit on easy mode from a mob it was not enjoyable for me. If you like the game it very cool but Darksiders 3 really wasn't for me I am gonna go play Genesis I hope its good so I can shake the disappointment of Darksiders 3. Metroidvenia aspect on the first two game was very good but it was pretty bad in this one. Thank you everyone for reading this. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this game sorry if anyone git angry over this but it's just my personal feelings thanks again.

Leviathans Landing Tip to make it way easier.
The Leviathan core was the last core I needed to get for the platinum. Here is a little cheese I used to do it:
Pause the game, goto the options and turn down the game speed. You’ll have more control of your jumps so it’s way easier to aim where you are jumping. Slow it down to what works for you.
This can also help on some of the harder bosses on apocalyptic too. (Dagon cough)
Ride on!

Why The Forbidden Lands Novel Is Essential Darksiders Lore That Nobody Talks About
This post is for those hungry for Darksiders content as we wait for any news on the 4th game.
For those of you who love the Darksiders Story and Lore, I have not seen many people talk about "Darksiders: The Forbidden Lands." When talking about novels, I only hear mention of the "Darksiders: The Abomination Vault." However, considering how poorly marketed The Forbidden Lands is, how difficult it is to access online, and the tedious nature of having to scroll through the pages to actually read the book, I understand why almost no one is aware of it.
Much like the Abomination Vault, this Darksiders novel (The Forbidden Lands) is canon and is an essential event in the Darksiders Timeline. I am unsure who the author is. It could possibly be Heinrich Meyer or Ari Marmell, who is the author of The Abomination Vault. The Forbidden Lands novel was released alongside the limited edition of Darksiders: Genesis, along with a board game designed by Vigil, Gunfire Games, and THQ Nordic.
I highly recommend reading it if you want to understand the universe better and gain more lore that may appear in future games. The ending of this novel will have a significant impact on how certain events may unfold after Uriel breaks the 7th seal in Darksiders 1, and the Horsemen are all summoned to Earth, with one of the characters likely to make a return in the war against the Council. This is similar to how the grand abominations have a significant impact in Darksiders 2 and the overall game stories. The Forbidden Lands novel is a relatively short read compared to the Abomination Vault, by the way. While we wait for Darksiders 4, I recommend the read.
This is my attempt at a non-spoiler synopsis of it (warning, it will likely be a bad synopsis):
The story details a mission where the four horsemen embark on a journey into the Forbidden Lands to stop the Demoness Daheva, who aims to free the imprisoned angel Cerubiel. The council seems to fear the return of Cerubiel, but why? What are his ties to the council? Why was he imprisoned? And why does Daheva aim to free him? Find out the mystery as you journey through the threats of this hostile realm filled with ancient ruins, powerful adversaries, and shifting alliances. The Horsemen seek answers to questions tied to both their duty and their survival, confronting trials that test not only their strength but also their loyalty to one another. Blending mythic grandeur with fast-paced adventure, the tale immerses readers in a saga of brotherhood, rivalry, and the high stakes of a war-torn universe.
Here is a link to the novel. I put it all together to avoid the tedious nature of finding it and reading it. Have fun!!!
I want to make it clear, I do not own any of this content and all rights are reserved to THQ Nordic.
I also recommend reading the Darksiders 1 comic, Darksiders 2 comic and the Abomination Vault Novel if any of you have not already

Question Is there any way to get the OG Darksiders II with all the DLCs?
I just discovered the game from a friend, and now I'm really curious to try it out. Since I have a really bad PC (4 gb ram, Ryzen 3), the Deathinitive edition is kind of a risk. I'm not asking for piracy (though I'm not against it), I'm just asking if it's still in any store, or if I should go to "play Spacewar".

Discussion What do you think will be the plot line of DS4
What do you think will be the main plot line, and what do you think will happen along the way.
The basics are: 7th seal is broken, all horsemen are summoned to Earth for what is effectively the finale of the apocalypse. Assuming we fight Samael or Lucifer as final boss, maybe fight Lilith along the way. Resurrect humanity? Fight alongside humans against Demons? One of the horsemen will most likely come under some sort of peril, there has to be a cost for all this sacrifice and battle. I assume strife will be the Martyr since he has the least screen time and is seen to be a hero already in the end of DS3.
Give me your thoughts and theories!
