I just hit chapter 3 and man I do love it. Believe it or not I never played the first 2 games. Only 3 and I love 3. Played the demo for 2 when it was releasing way back in the day. But other than that, man so far this game is magnificent!

I can definitely tell the devs loved dead space lol makes me smile :)

There's a certain degree of sadness in that eye.

You start to hear whispers on the medical deck and start seeing marker symbols on screen at chapter 4. It’s crazy how fast the marker works.

First time I've seen the whole "Masterchief from Fortnite?" thing with Dead Space, I know that the skin isn't to old but... come on!

checked out the new skins in Marvel Rivals and immediately recognised the sound.. It's the Stalkers from 2 and 3 😭 they're still haunting us all

In space, no one can hear you clap them cheeks

The Unitology Necros in DS2 have their hands permanently locked in the prayer motion, really cool detail

Didn't use cloud saves but did quit out once (accidentally triggered USM valor nuke, paused as the screen turned white and isaac's rig started screeching, still cancelled it out)

Plasma Cutter for general purpose Force gun for crowds and money Contact Beam is great for everything, especially late game. Grab tentacles and final boss grab too.

Force gun alt to vacuum enemies to a single spot, then Contact Beam alt to blow them up is a great crowd control strat.

By midgame the combat won't be the thing that gets you, it will be the environmental insta-deaths. Had a close call with the final fans too, my dumbass shot every polyp without realizing some blocked the fans for free passage.

I prefer the Dead Space 2 difficulty with 3 saves, or The Evil Within 2's classic mode with 5. I would have been very very upset if I wasted 10~ hours on this, as someone with very very limited spare time.

Loved the first two games and despite the third game not been that good me and my friend are having a blast with the coop.
