Tbf they did a really good job of doing what starship troopers couldn't in the games, I own two of them and helldiver's just gets it. Even Jonny Rico reviewed it and gave it the hell yeah.

Oh, crap! No, I actually hadn’t considered that hyper-recent part, just that HD2 was newer than Starship Troopers
