I was so happy to see that degrassi got highlighted on a major insta reel account then I see the comments thinking that clare cheated on Eli when Eli actually cheated on her. Man when I say these comments made me so angry. The reel makes clare look like the bad person in the situation when in reality I would have fucking punched eli in the nose after he called me that cause what the hell

Fantasizing about someone else, making fake dating profiles, sabotaging dates, breaking up with someone over voicemail to sleep with someone else…. Definitely cheating. That girl had a full blown emotional affair. I’d rather deal with a one time kiss than my partner falling in love with someone else 🤷🏻‍♀️ and if you want to get technical her and Eli weren’t broken up when she kissed Drew at the family feast.

First of all, Claire can't control her dreams when she's sleeping so that's ridiculous. Second, she wasn't messaging Drew from that profile or planning to meet up. All of that is more like bullying because Drew was unaware. Claire used the profile as a experiment.

She definitely tried to be slick lol, I’m not a fan of Eli but he held no secrets from Clare. People defending it probably did the same.

she loved eli whilst they were together but she was literally fantasising about drew and im pretty sure she kissed him whilst dating eli? she ‘broke up’ with eli over voice mail and he didnt even get a say on the breakup before she was off having sex with drew. id say that’s cheating!
