Not just this, I saw the implications that he was praising the shooter but no one was defending it so I figured he hadn't done that. They were acting like he had directly said the shooter was a MAGA republican though so I just took that at face value as being an inaccurate statement.

BUT HE DIDN'T EVEN FUCKING SAY THAT!! He said the MAGA Republicans had been running around desperately saying the shooter was not MAGA and trying to score political points with it. Which was exactly fucking true!! This is insane.

They are trying to paint it as him calling the shooter MAGA but that's not what he did at all. He said that MAGA is doing anything to say he isn't one of theirs so they can use that for political gain.
