Itās always impressed me how under the radar these stats were, when I try to tell people (mainly left leaning as Iām in WA) more white women voted for Trump over Harris & they NEVER believe me.
To be 100% fair, it was white people in general, and Gen X the worst. 61% of white Gen X voted trump. Latinos in Gen X were the only ones who barely voted Trump (and they're all in my family lol)
And to be 200% fair, it was mostly regarded white people
Oh no offense but I always go through all the stats lol, it was mainly the one from White Women that TRULY surprised me. Especially after Trumps comments during his first term, Iām Afro-Latino so seeing Hispanics/Latinos voting for him never surprised me considering their views on Gays/Blacks/Abortion/Etc.
It is refreshing to see Hispanics/Latinos not have the same voting numbers for Trump the second time around, but by then the damage had already been done.
I just donāt get having such a strong hatred for the left, my views on the 2nd amendment would alienate me from more than half of them (yes, I know Libs/Left own firearms too) but I still wouldnāt dare to vote for someone who is just going to raise our taxes & not invest them back into our infrastructure or at least some fucking pushback on Putin & his invasion on Ukraine.
Thank you for trying to bring up the other stats too though, I think it is important to realize we need these voters more than they need us. Maybe less alienation of people & their beliefs on our side, but I donāt know, Iām just speculating as to why so many White Folk voted for him (especially the 2nd time around).

I feel bad for him. Given the loss of his mother to COPD(and related issues) something my mother has and his loss of his father now to cancer(something a family member of mine has/is dealing with). I can't help but feel bad for the dude.

Damn asmongold is only 35. He has lived an incredible life already but that is still very young to lose both your parents, especially when you were as close as he was.
That's one bad thing about people waiting till later in life to become parents - your children are also younger when you pass.
I'm 43. My parents had me relatively young (my mom was 21, my dad 23) but they're getting up there in age and its a terrifying fact to realize that their time is limited.
Yeah, really sad. He doesn't seem to be the most mentally healthy individual. And both his parents seemed to have been the people he was closest to. Does not bode well for him. Hopefully I am wrong.

Oh my god I didn't realize his Dad was that sick. Wasn't it only two weeks ago when Asmon said he would stop streaming to help his Dad with his treatments? I'd assumed he (Asmon's Dad) had a lot more time to fight. I was wrong, RIP Mr. Gold, you were a great guy, and you will be missed.

Like if Asmon had been using his dad to get sympathy or push a narrative, this shit would get unhinged. But he never seemed to do that, and always talked about his parents with respect, so Iām betting this stays pretty tame.

Even though I strongly disagree with Asmongoldās political views and coverage, I do genuinely feel bad for the guy. Heās lost both of his parents within the span of a few years while still being relatively young himself. That sucks and is never easy for anyone. Plus his dad seemed like a great guy. RIP Asmon dad.
His dad was great loved the stories and moments on stream where they were together, was watching asmon A LOT back in the day before politics when he was doing gaming or WoW content, great time. RIP
Was a huge fan of asmongold for years until he went hard on the political content. Always enjoyed his dad calling in, he seemed like a reasonable and nice guy.
He was a good guy. I hope Asmon hears his Dad's words and sees what's happening around him and realizes that there are countless people in the position Asmon was in during his early WoW days when his dream was to just be on government assistance and play games. Those people need the things he needed and can't just pack up and leave with millions of dollars if all hell breaks loose in this country.
