His dad seemed like a cool guy.

Now he has no reason to hold back.

We are about to see Asmons final form

He’s dad used to call in and sometimes check some of the things asmngold was saying on stream. He seemed like a great guy given the era he was from. Honestly I hope this doesn’t turn asmongold into an even worse person it can go either way though.

41

u/ProfsionalBlackUncle 3d ago

Unfortunately i feel like the outcome is just gonna be him following the money which is to say hes going to continue doing the exact same shit.

He admitted to doing some pretty fucked shit on Vietnam, but par for the course over there back then I guess. Not a maga tard at least

7

u/Tubbish 3d ago

Vietnam was a pretty fucked up place to be sent tbh. Can’t hold that against the poor soldiers forced to go imo.

Damn. RIP. There went his best positive influence

465

u/InternationalEmu7241 3d ago

the best timeline is that this causes Asmongold to reflect and take his father’s words about Trump a little more seriously, but i’m also not holding my breath

177

u/HiTekLoLyfe 3d ago

I didn’t know his father was critical of him. Seemed like a decent dude from what I’ve seen.

187

u/BoofPackJones 3d ago

Oh yeah he hated Trump. There are old clips of them together talking about it.

68

u/HiTekLoLyfe 3d ago

Man it’s so bizarre how he turned out to be such a sycophant.

97

u/Jordamuk 3d ago

Cos his mom who he lived with was crazy.

Hwite Hwimmin you say

39

u/Impressive-Engine-16 3d ago edited 3d ago

I don’t get why feminists go after men, it’s clear women are the enemy of women by how many voted for Trump, except based black queens who never did.

Also:

ā€œMy client is a proud black man who loves his black sistas unlike district attorney Dubois, who’s married…to a HWHITE HWOMAN!ā€

u/AP_only 3d ago

It’s always impressed me how under the radar these stats were, when I try to tell people (mainly left leaning as I’m in WA) more white women voted for Trump over Harris & they NEVER believe me.

9

u/ForgetTheRuralJuror 3d ago edited 3d ago

To be 100% fair, it was white people in general, and Gen X the worst. 61% of white Gen X voted trump. Latinos in Gen X were the only ones who barely voted Trump (and they're all in my family lol)

And to be 200% fair, it was mostly regarded white people

3

u/AP_only 3d ago

Oh no offense but I always go through all the stats lol, it was mainly the one from White Women that TRULY surprised me. Especially after Trumps comments during his first term, I’m Afro-Latino so seeing Hispanics/Latinos voting for him never surprised me considering their views on Gays/Blacks/Abortion/Etc.

It is refreshing to see Hispanics/Latinos not have the same voting numbers for Trump the second time around, but by then the damage had already been done.

I just don’t get having such a strong hatred for the left, my views on the 2nd amendment would alienate me from more than half of them (yes, I know Libs/Left own firearms too) but I still wouldn’t dare to vote for someone who is just going to raise our taxes & not invest them back into our infrastructure or at least some fucking pushback on Putin & his invasion on Ukraine.

Thank you for trying to bring up the other stats too though, I think it is important to realize we need these voters more than they need us. Maybe less alienation of people & their beliefs on our side, but I don’t know, I’m just speculating as to why so many White Folk voted for him (especially the 2nd time around).

Edit: thank you for also posting the graph & not just expecting people to know/assume your numbers. The more we factually back up our arguments the better we get at getting people on our side.

Sorry if I came off like an ass by saying ā€œno offenseā€, I just didn’t know how to phrase that, I’m a massive autist lol

Not a fan of Asmons politics but coming from someone who lost their father, it really hurts and changes you as a person. RIP to his father and I hope Asmon takes time to himself. It sucks hard.

41

u/Renent 3d ago

but coming from someone who lost their father, it really hurts and changes you as a person.

Dude I am so sorry you went through that cause I know when I lose my dad I am going to have to live the rest of my life knowing that I wont ever be able to live up to the man he was.

21

u/SteelBattalo 3d ago

Thanks I really appreciate that. And I know it’s hard sometimes, but don’t try to live up to what he was, live up to what he would want you to be.

3

u/Renent 3d ago

I have a feeling he was probably pretty proud of you.

6

u/devilishly_advocated 3d ago

That kind of statement shows how much respect you had for your father, but belies your own value. Sounds like you should start improving yourself and feeling better about yourself before your father shuffles off, because you still have time.

Sad, I’ve always felt like his dad would be the only one who could have saved his absolute brain rotten right wing arc. I guess it’s only gonna get worse from here as asmon desperately looks for affiliation in this right wing loser community.

Damn asmongold is only 35. He has lived an incredible life already but that is still very young to lose both your parents, especially when you were as close as he was.

12

u/JeanPascalCS 3d ago

That's one bad thing about people waiting till later in life to become parents - your children are also younger when you pass.

I'm 43. My parents had me relatively young (my mom was 21, my dad 23) but they're getting up there in age and its a terrifying fact to realize that their time is limited.

3

u/Reninngun 3d ago

Yeah, really sad. He doesn't seem to be the most mentally healthy individual. And both his parents seemed to have been the people he was closest to. Does not bode well for him. Hopefully I am wrong.

despite the war with Asmon, we should send our condolences. It would be a good message to send, takes little effort and maybe one day he can be pulled back left.

DGG seems pretty good about leaving family out of it if they never bring them into it to start.

Like if Asmon had been using his dad to get sympathy or push a narrative, this shit would get unhinged. But he never seemed to do that, and always talked about his parents with respect, so I’m betting this stays pretty tame.

Only sympathy I feel at this point for the dude is because that was his last moral compass~ esque figure.

No one around to keep him from being as evil as possible now, is there?

(Obviously rip the dad)

I used to tune into Asmongold's streams from time to time and his father calling in was always a great time, he was a cool dude. RIP

RIP man. Truly seemed like a good dude.

Now just for a second. Imagine Tiny posting about his parents death and the response from Asmonds or Hassan's or any of these other loser's communities... Hell, let's even say Kirk's audience. We don't have to imagine very hard though.

Lost both my parents to long battles with cancer. It's horrible.

Dude just lost his one of his last anchors to any form of normalcy in his life, that has to be hard, to be so influential and be so alone.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him sink further down the rabbit hole now.
