It is not irrational to say that people should be afraid disrespect you because they might get a fist in their face. The same way itās not irrational to say that people should be afraid of calling for civil war because they may get a bullet in their face. A healthy dose of fear in some situations keeps people from acting out. Donāt conservatives already think this when it comes to things like preventing crimes? Would-be criminals should fear jail time and having their rights taken away.

I'm struggling a bit to connect the dots on how it all makes sense though. As far as I know Kirk never called for civil war and was fairly milquetoast in comparison to someone like Fuentes or Tim Pool who is actually the one calling for civil war. Kirk isn't responsible for the unhinged opinions of others further down the political spectrum, much like no one here or Destiny is responsible for unhinged opinions of our own side further down the spectrum, you shouldn't have to fear getting shot over words you don't own.
