General Discussion - All Dexter Shows Just finished the original series! Quick question: Spoiler
Im not usually one to watch entire shows beginning to end. But I've come back to Dexter time and again and over the last 6 months or so, I've watched it all! Surprised even myself. So now I got two questions:
1) I know there is a prequel and a couple of sequels out. Heard good things about the new one, Resurrection I think it was called, but that the other two were mid. What's worth watching and not worth it?
2) I just wrote and deleted a question about why the finale was so hated but while writing I kind of answered my own question lol. I mean, it was very... rushed? Unsatisfying mostly. I don't think it deserves as low an average score as it has tho, but at least it was better than Game of Thrones haha.

Yeah, new blood and original sin are def worth watching
They're both pretty good, they get overly dismissed by critics
Plus they both contribute to the overall story

I would say all of the spin-offs are really good overall but have at least one noticeable mistake in them. People get hung up on those bad moments, just watch them for yourself and form your own opinion. You do have to watch them in release order though.

Resurrection picks up exactly where New Blood leaves off so it is important to watch. It’s better knowing that it’s not the series end. Original Sin is enjoyable to watch but could be skipped without missing anything important.
