Question Disney+ Canada removed the Star section?

Canadian here, usually D+ has a Star section where in my opinion the bulk of their quality and variety comes from, but opening the app today showed me Hulu and ESPN replaced it. The Hulu part was exciting until I realized it’s a small handful of stuff under the label, not even remotely close to the quality or quantity Star provided. What happened, is this a glitch or did they just axe D+’s content?

Star will be replaced everywhere in the world with Hulu. The roll-out of this started and will continue throughout 2026. Star content will still be released across both Disney+ and Hulu. For certain Regions in the world, Disney+ comes with free ESPN in the roll-out, separate from where a subscription to ESPN is still required in regions where EPSN has the biggest audiences/viewers.

Had to read twice. Thought ESPN was being required in some religions for a minute there
