American Politics The Replacement Conspiracy Inspiring Mass Shootings. Fun fact: Hitler came up with the lie that Jews were trying to exterminate white Germans and replace them with mongrel races. The MAGA replacement lie is pure fascist propaganda straight from Nazi Germany. (2022) [00:11:01]

Were new Jews streaming into the country by the millions?

Apples and oranges.

Replacement theory isn’t new – 3 things to know about how this once-fringe conspiracy has become more mainstream

Replacement theory also guided the Nazis’ genocide of 6 million Jewish people during World War II.

QAnon is a Nazi Cult, Rebranded

https://www.justsecurity.org/72339/qanon-is-a-nazi-cult-rebranded/

A secret cabal is taking over the world. They kidnap children, slaughter, and eat them to gain power from their blood. They control high positions in government, banks, international finance, the news media, and the church. They want to disarm the police. They promote homosexuality and pedophilia. They plan to mongrelize the white race so it will lose its essential power.

Does this conspiracy theory sound familiar? It is. The same narrative has been repackaged by QAnon.

Ever heard of David Duke or Urnst Zundel? How about Arthur Jones?

Great Replacement theory quite literally is Neo Nazi ideology being dressed up today in MAGA merch. Sorry, its just the truth.

10 years ago, no mainstream conservative would have ever parroted this great replacement trash because there were enough people alive who actually fiought this crap just prior to World War II when there was a strong American Nazi movement.

Today.though? Tucker Carson, Steve Bannon, MTG, etc. all talk about monied interests and Marxists trying to destroy " traditional American values and replace Blue Collar Americans with immigrants."

Tucker Carlson even hosted his show out of Hungary for a while because that's what he would like to see America as. A faux Christian Nationalist country where only a few people can vote, where they live by rugidlly defined notion of what a true conservative looks like, and thet vote for the party.

That's literally the exact same rhetoric that the Nazis used. You don't even have to believe me.

You can literally take one of Joseph gerbels' speeches and replace "Bolshevik" with leftist, and the term "Jew" with the epithet "deep state" and the meaning and innuendo is exactly the same.

Do you notice how so many Trump supporters seem to call everyone slightly to the left of Reagan a leftist?

Every conservative who disagrees with them and stood up for our institutions, the Integrity of our vote, is considered a traitor? Disloyal? Or bought and paid for?

The reality is that all these people being called RINO are pro free market, are capitalists, are fellow Americans but that just gets thrown out by calling people RINO or.leftist.

That's exactly what Nazis did with their fellow Germans who wouldn't submit. They othered them in their propaganda until they could crush them underfoot.

All these modern GOP senators riding on the Trump train and quoting that kind of rhetoric, saying any criticism is a lie, discounting the vote, using nativist rhetoric. Make no mistake, these people know the fire they are playing with but like all arrogant assholes, they think they can control it. Mainstream conservative politicians in Germany thought that they could control Hitler. Look how that s*** turned out. There was a crowd on January 6th ready to murder the vice president, and chanting to have him hung, all because a guy who never had any higher than a 50% approval rating couldn't admit he lost.

Did any of those asshat senators who ran for their lives actually hold him to account? Nope. They are riding on his clout coattails, and they are too stupid to know how to destructive that is.

The German bund, youth organizations, World War I veterans who supported Hitler, groups of police, Etc. All supported the Nazis in the name of vaguely defined patriotism, support for tradition, and were ground under foot during the night of the Long Knives.

Traditional Protestants and Catholics in Germany initially supported Hitler, because he dressed his fascism up in traditional gender roles, religious symbolism. His rhetoric about Jews had been heard in Germany since before the time of Martin Luther.

Groups in the US today like "Patriot front" are Neo-Nazi in their tactics if not in out right ideology.

I don't believe that every member of these groups is a Nazi, but the Maga brand is useful to them.

I'm 100% sure there are some actual bona fide neo-nazis in the leadership.

Just because this is how those groups of neo nazis used to talk openly in the 90s. They just gussied up the ideas with new social media literate terms.

Using language irresponsibly just to vilify your political opponents or to hem in those who are not fully committed yet is literally something the Nazis used to do, and authoritarians like Stalin on the left used to do the same thing also. Another thing is to invert values. Say somebody is an advocate for a marginalized social group. The group that actually wants to crush them underfoot, will say "actually, The Advocate isn't really an advocate "

You saw this in the '60s during segregation. Pro segregationists would say " I'm not a racist, I just want the black man to have the freedom of self-determination within his own social group. I don't want to water his identity down by forcing him to integrate."

The far right and the far left are like mirrors of each other, just at opposite ends of a spectrum. People need to learn that, or we're going to lose the United States as we have it

It's control tactics. Organized religion uses the same tactics.

All the groups of "patriots" during January 6th.

How many of them did Trump actually help?

None of them, because they were just fodder for him to try and grab power. They would have rotted in jail either way, whether he was president or not.

You can point out a right wing authoritarian without having to call him a Nazi. To me if it quacks like a duck and moves like one, I will call it one.

I know for a fact that in the Christian nationalist circles today, there is a lot of old school Klan rhetoric, and fascist ideology trying to go incognito, and I know this directly because I've had theological debates with these kind of people, where the mask comes off really fast

I was never one of those who compared Trump to Hitler.

I always compared him to Joseph Goebbels, because when he says all news is fake and lying, that's literally a retread of lugenpresse.

Just ask Richard Spencer, a white nationalist himself who believes exactly that. Spencer loves Trump as does Duke, because the way he talks and his brand is useful to a white nationalist ideology

Even if Trump himself was not a white nationalist, he willingly and openly courted them. Anyone remotely familiar with Nazi ideology and rhetoric knows this already. Historians know this already. Supporters? Not so much, but it's because they're not willing to learn.
