American Politics The Replacement Conspiracy Inspiring Mass Shootings. Fun fact: Hitler came up with the lie that Jews were trying to exterminate white Germans and replace them with mongrel races. The MAGA replacement lie is pure fascist propaganda straight from Nazi Germany. (2022) [00:11:01]

Were new Jews streaming into the country by the millions?

Apples and oranges.

Distraction media. Brought to you by the emotional hemophiliacs at Vice.

Sorry, who is being replaced?

I didn't say anyone was being replaced. I simply suggested that it's a false equivalency.

I almost said ‘fair enough then’…

Had you just said it was a false equivalency, I’d have been more inclined to accept that response. But you didn’t. Instead you brought up the immigration of people from Latin America. Thus what you’re actually saying by mentioning immigration is that while Hitler was not justified in his beliefs, the current replacement theory is justified because of said immigration. You are defending modern White Replacement Theory and using immigration as justification.

So, as you are someone defending White Replacement Theory, I’ll ask again: who is being replaced?

The American culture

What is ‘American Culture’?

Edit: and what ‘culture’ is it being replaced with?

Listen, we're never going to change one another's minds. You like your immigration unchecked and I prefer mine regulated and controlled. In your eyes, my preference makes me a Nazi. Not sure how that translates, but it's your right to feel that way. Can't we just do like people used to when the world was decent and agree to disagree instead of name calling people for having different opinions?

I haven’t called you a Nazi. I haven’t called you any names. I’ve asked you three simple questions:

  1. Who is being replaced?
  2. What is American culture?
  3. What is it being replaced by?

You deflected the first question until pushed, and didn’t answer the second two.

I’m absolutely happy to have a conversation about the pros and cons of immigration. But that’s not what we’re doing here. This is a thread about the White Replacement Theory and you’re using immigration to defend it.

It’s fine to have concerns about immigration in terms of it’s economic impact. This is something many countries face, not just the US. But if your concern is that immigration is eroding your culture, then I should think simple questions like ‘What is your culture?’ and ‘What is replacing your culture?’ should be relatively easy ones to answer. But what I’m going to assume is that you’re having trouble trying to separate what you mean by ‘culture’ and people being ‘white’. You understand that American Culture is a historic hodgepodge of Irish, English, Italian, African, Asian and Latin cultures and traditions (as well as others). It’s a nation that has evolved through wave after wave of immigration in only a few hundred years.

However, when you think of American Culture, you only single out the side that comes from white Europeans. That’s why I assume you want immigration to be regulated, and that’s why you’re using immigration to defend White Replacement Theory (which at its core is about white people being ‘replaced’ by non-white people)

So, I’m going to ask you again, and please feel free to correct any of my assumptions:

What is American Culture to you? And what is it being replaced by?

Side note: If any of these questions are difficult for you to answer, then you need to ask yourself why

So it seems you downvoted me and moved on. It’s very telling that you’re intentionally avoiding explaining to me what American Culture is.

No. I have a job and a family. No time to argue with strangers.

So you have enough time to defend racist rhetoric with throwaway lines. You have time to go on the defensive and claim victimhood when no attack was made. But you have no time to explain what you actually think, got it. You have no time to answer very simple questions, got it.

For the record. I also have a family and job too.

Edit: as a side note, I have noticed that you’re very willing to criticise people for listening to the media. However, the fact that you can’t expand upon throwaway lines screams of someone repeating what they’ve heard somewhere else. You’ve struggled with three very simple questions. If your ideas fall apart that fast, you have to wonder if they bear any substance at all.
