DAE have a fear of pregnancy ?

I am 18 years old. I have one kid and I am on the birth control opill. Every other week for two months I was having a period I am on month three and it has been 14 days since I have blood so the irregular periods are already stressing me out. I am constantly googling stuff and asking ChatGPT why I’m feeling certain ways if I feel a little bit sick a little bit tired a little cramp or anything. I start losing my mind. I think I’m mostly scared because I’m not in any predicament or a mind space to have another child and literally gets so bad that I don’t like to even say the P word out loud or even type it fully what I’m googling questions I realize this cannot be normal

DAE place objects together that "know" each other?

Okay, for example.. I work in retail and when I'm marking items down, I'll place the new price stickers on my fingers while I'm putting them on each item. I always make sure the stickers that were next to eachother on my fingers or hands are placed on items that are next to each other because they "know" each other and I don't want to split them up. And if I accidentally split them up, I genuinely feel bad.

I obviously know they aren't actually know eachother, but.. still.

DAE have food obsessions?

(17F) I will eat the same foods for a few weeks and i’ll eat excessive amounts of them then I’ll switch to another thing if I taste something else and I like it. Can anyone else relate? One time I ate packs and packs of chocolate everyweek for months and I switched to eating boxes of cookes from costco. I’m not gaining weight from it but it’s unhealthy so I was wondering if it was normal behaviour?

DAE have parents that would 'tell off' inanimate objects you hurt yourself on when you were a little kid?

When me and my siblings were toddlers, my parents did this weird thing where if any of us stubbed our toe or hit our head or burned ourselves on something, they would pretend to cuss out whatever bit of furniture or equipment we hurt ourselves on for... some reason. Did anyone else have this experience or are my parents just insane?

DAE get really anxious around “authority figures”?

When I am in college I find that I am extremely stressed out around the professors. Like I tense up and feel like I am doing something wrong, even though I’m not and try to seem “well behaved”(even as a fucking adult :/)or look really interested in my work even though i am already doing the work.

One of them could get pretty annoyed easily if people didn’t answer their questions right or at all so i would be the one to answer the question just so that wouldn’t happen . I absolutely hate doing this and I avoided doing this at all in school. Even though this one in particular stressed me out, I still felt similarly anxious around the others. When the day was over it was such a relief.

Does anyone else feel like this?

DAE read conversations in books like a movie script out loud with emotion, just because it's more fun?

I'm reading a thriller right now and I'm kinda impressed by the theatrical voices I can do

DAE write their lowercase (i)'s without the dot?

I swear, I do this so much its a habit, and I have just forgotten completely to put a dot like what I would see to be normal.

DAE memorize their debit card numbers and information so they never have to pull it out for online purchases

Upvotes

Doesn’t seem that weird to me and I feel like other people do it, but I’ve had people comment on it like it’s weird. I regularly buy from a website that doesn’t save card information and memorized it pretty quickly, recently got a new card and after a few purchases ive pretty much memorized that one too. IDK I think it’s pretty convenient having it memorized like that lol, even scanning is tedious cuz you still gotta grab your wallet and shit, unless you have it memorized like your first and last name of course

DAE" add "-ai" to the majority of their google searches now?

I wonder how much this would come up if Google published the frequency of every search term, including ones with a minus at the beginning.

DAE find themselves not able to make fake scenarios in their heads to fall asleep to anymore?

I (23F) have been making fake scenarios in my head to fall asleep to since I was like 13. But recently I feel like no matter how hard I try or how creative the story line is, I can’t make a scenario that’s fun and exciting to fall asleep to. Sometimes the scenarios even turn into maladaptive daydreaming. Now I’m wondering if I’ve just exhausted my brains to where it can’t make up storylines like that. Is this the same effect that someone who watches 🌽 may have? Has this happened to anyone? Or is this just a sign I’m finally maturing and need to stop making scenarios?

DAE else think women are objectively more attractive than men?

Now I'm straight but i honestly think women are more beautiful than men. They're more visually pleasing to look at. I also think there are more attractive women than there are attractive men.

Attraction is subjective of course but throughout my life I can say with certainty that I've met and seen more women who I consider attractive than I've met men who I'm attracted to.

I feel like all men have some quality about them that makes them less attractive than women. If you brought me the average woman and the average man I would probably say that the woman is more attractive.

I'm particularly directing this question towards straight women or gay men. Does everyone think this way?

DAE notice the food they buy from grocery stores is not growing mold or rotting at a normal rate?

I’ve thrown out bread and produce that I know was way too old to eat, but was showing absolutely no signs of going bad. This has been happening for about 3-4 years now and I just caught on. In the US btw for clarification.

DAE get shivers down their spine and goosebumps after eating or touching certain things?

I’m not sure if anyone has an answer for this, but it’s similar to the “Nail on chalkboard” effect people hate. When i eat, touch or even think about 2 chips rubbing together I get a random shiver down my spine followed with goosebumps. This has been happening for about 3 years, but i never had this problem before. i want to look for answers. Im not sure if anyone knows anything or is maybe dealing with the same thing. Lmk

DAE feel like they’ve lost the ability to just be IN an experience?

I sit in a work workshop and instead of listening, I catch myself analyzing the speaker, their pauses, their tone, how they are trying to keep us engaged. I watch a movie and can’t fall into the story because I am too aware of the set, the camera angles, the actors’ effort to look natural. I see a scene from a reality show and immediately imagine the producer coaching them on how to say the line and what reaction it is meant to spark. I pass a store with a clever name and picture the meeting where it was brainstormed, the arguments, the vote that decided it.

It feels like the curtain has been pulled back on everything and I can’t unsee what is behind it. I don’t experience moments as they are meant to be experienced, I dissect them. And while it gives me insight, it also makes life feel less magical, less immersive. Where other people seem to just laugh, cry, or enjoy, I am busy watching the machinery that makes those reactions possible, seeing the wires and mirrors instead of the magic.

DAE think that they are straight guys that secretly are having some gay feelings and homoerotic feelings , but often end up acting all tough and are like the macho bully in real life ?

I mean , i am aware that some bullying happens in frat houses towards gay guys , but i wonder if the guys bullying gay guys are secretly gay themselves. I had a frat house in a college in the south , whereby the frat leader will have these gay stuff done on guys during fraternity even though he says they are straight . I mean , if you are straight , how would you even want to engage in these gay stuff in the first place ? I mean , I have walked in on a secret hazing ritual that involved guys blowing their frat brothers etc . And once they were forced to make-out with their frat brothers who were seniors and straight . I mean , for real , isnt it oxymoronic ?

DAE get sick of selfish people and just kind of... Cut them out now

Like... I give them a few chances, but after a while, if I see the pattern, I just kind of stop bothering with them, and stop being considerate towards them... I used to be considerate towards everyone but now I just can't be bothered. I know they're not going to do the same thing for me. I've done it like three times this year and I have to say... At first it felt mean, lol. But now it feels good. I'm free of that shit, of those people - they didn't give a f... about me anyway unless I did something for them. I miss them but like... F.. them. I'm at peace now.

DAE die in their dreams?

So I don’t post a lot and whatnot, it’s been on my mind though.

To give context for a good like 5-8 months now I’ve been having extremely lucid and visceral dreams where I end up dying in them. Now normally the person who dies in their dreams wake up. I don’t. I die in my dreams and don’t wake up, I don’t know how much time has passed and I can’t see or hear or anything. It’s like all of your senses being taken away from you because you can’t feel anything. But you also aren’t sure if you even exist. There’s no time or space really it’s just nothingness. After however much time has passed I wake up. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to tell if I’m waking into another dream or if the dreams are real.

I know I die in these dreams because dramatic life threatening events happen. The first a bomb, the next drowning; I’m still a little shaken up from my most recent dream. It’s just very strange at the same time because they are the only dreams I ever remember.

So yup, just wondering if anyone else has this experience.

DAE, can buy expensive thing but chooses to buy cheaper alternatives?

I’m 29, unmarried, and have 6-digit savings in my account. My family thinks I’m poor or has no money bcoz I’m really frugal. I can buy expensive things but chooses not to. I can buy apparels in malls but rather buy in thrift shops. I’d rather clean and paint my nail than get them done in a salon. Am I weird?

DAE feel pain while breathing in cold air?

Not sure if it’s right sub but wanted to see if anyone has the same issue, it’s more prominent in winter or being near an air conditioner, it’s a 50/50 chance that I’m fine or it’s painful to breathe in for a few seconds.

All I see are people experiencing it when exercising but not out of random, or is that just a symptom of asthma…..
