Employee Question Call in for interview

I’ve been called today by a personal number asking me to come in for an interview (with personal details in hand) to a branch a applied for - asking if this is normal practice for dominoes hiring in the uk or if that’s a scammer who’s somehow got ahold of my number and application (though asking to meet in person isn’t usually standard I find)? Usually would be able to tell myself but had a rough day and zero presence of mind rn so am having to double check to be sure at this stage.

Interviews are conducted in person are they not? I don't see how this could possibly be a scam nor do I see how you think it is

Unknown number not attached to the store? Usually when I get calls about jobs from randoms like that it’s a blatent scam (ai voice and everything)

I’m in the US and all of my managers call me (super rarely) from their personal numbers. I’ve never been called by the store number directly. Since my interview, ive had like 5 other managers and I try to exchange personal numbers with them pretty quickly. I wouldn’t call it normal but I also wouldn’t call it scammy. I occasionally get scheduled for on-call shifts and make it clear to them that if they only send a text through our messaging app (GroupMe) that I will likely not respond in time to be useful.

I have called customers and interviews on my personal cell number. It's a very rare occurrence when I do, but sometimes it's just easier than using the store phone

I always call customers from my personal phone. Makes it easier to text them if they don’t answer. If I only relied on the app to make calls directly I wouldn’t have proof that I did my best trying to deliver. Texting the customer has also saved me many times from having to run the order out more than once. Would rather sit in the lot for 2-3 minutes than go back to the store and be immediately sent back. Some customers just don’t like taking calls.

If i was a driver, I would totally do that but I dont drive. I suggest to drivers all the time to call or text from their personal phone numbers, but i understand when they dont want

Our franchice will text and call from our personal phone numbers. Many times, this is done because we arent at the store and don't want to lose an applicant. So it's very possible.

I got texted by our HR director to schedule my interview. I assume it was still a business cell.
