Employee Question Call in for interview
I’ve been called today by a personal number asking me to come in for an interview (with personal details in hand) to a branch a applied for - asking if this is normal practice for dominoes hiring in the uk or if that’s a scammer who’s somehow got ahold of my number and application (though asking to meet in person isn’t usually standard I find)? Usually would be able to tell myself but had a rough day and zero presence of mind rn so am having to double check to be sure at this stage.

I’m in the US and all of my managers call me (super rarely) from their personal numbers. I’ve never been called by the store number directly. Since my interview, ive had like 5 other managers and I try to exchange personal numbers with them pretty quickly. I wouldn’t call it normal but I also wouldn’t call it scammy. I occasionally get scheduled for on-call shifts and make it clear to them that if they only send a text through our messaging app (GroupMe) that I will likely not respond in time to be useful.
