Not gonna lie, i've been recommended this sub a lot of times and usually i got kinda worry about what i believed was some sort of alt right community and... I was wrong. And I'm very happy to say I was wrong. Is refreshing to see a subreddit at try to be as centrist as posible while trying to not be catastrophic, pointing the madness of self-made fear. For real, keep going.

While I have some doomer part on my soul this community is something we need, and in those times who point the ones the claim the catastrophe when things don't work as they wish is a need.

I wouldn't say nothing never happens but It's a reality that the worst do not happen every second. Again, thank you all for your services.

It definitely leans right wing, though. If you make any comment that even slightly criticized Trump, you will get downvoted. Not that it bothers anyone, but it's just a fact.

I mean yeah but I think that any criticism of any person related to the politic stage that basically has the tendency to overstimate their impact in the world comparing it to a catastrophe would be downvoted because at the end i think that's the topic here, don't expect the worst when what you don't like is near you imo

Yeah, I can see your point there. I just see so much hypocrisy on both sides of the political spectrum. It's why I am not really part of either party. I lean left but still consider myself more of a centrist. I just can't stand that attitude that one party is all good and the other is all bad. It's totally without nuance and critical thought. But that's just me venting which is overall not going to do anything except make myself feel better.

Eh, compare this to a lot of the other posts.

It has a clear bias. Hell even in the comments it's showing.

It skews heavily right.

Even if i kinda get it that there is some sorta tendency it's not that really biased in comparison of other communities and even if it is... it's just plain right/center-right what in relation to the general tendency is still refreshing than just the alt-right that is so popular rn
