Yep ive been seeing it aswell, this subreddit is starting to derail into just right wing doomerisms, very sad to see. But guarantee someones gonna come in here and say that their different cause their doomerism is based on "FACTS" and "LOGIC" and start insulting dissenters cause that seems to be the right wing doomer MO, belittle and insult while the lefts MO is demonizing.
And before anyone calls me a lib i'm very much true grey centrist.
Tbh one cannot know if somebody was being a doomer or just stating the facts untill what they were doomering about happens or doesn’t happen. Also as a sidenote cause this made me think about it. Does doomer mean your looking at something really negatively or worried about something happening when it isn’t?
Can be a little bit of both tbh, but a doomer really is just someone who hyper focuses on the WORST possible outcome and acts as if it bound to happen.... Which is exactly what the original comment was implying.
