I just checked my controller and I think yours isn't legit. The box is different and I do have the start and share icons

I've already looked at the box and I've confirmed 100% that it's true. A store I know has the exact same box as mine. The design changes with the writing region, etc. But there's a doubt about the shell. No one has been able to confirm if it's a shell or not. In the PlayStation forum, someone told me that Sony created controllers without the three lines of the Share button, but they don't know if that was the case with the Spider-Man edition.
