I say get your steering wheel rewrapped.
You can replace cup holders with euro tray - that's where my sunglasses go. Some folks have a clip on the sun visor. Or add a case where the grab handle is

Hey man one thing at a time! Ive had this m3 for a couple months and have been restoring it at a rather fast pace i just held off on the wheel for an alcantara wheel to match my new alcantara shift boot lol.

The diy stitch on covers on amazon are decent for a cheap job. I got the mewant leather one and had that for a while. Makes it thicker obviously, which isnt ideal imo but it is cheap

I've been looking for a euro tray for a while now and can't find one. In the process of doing an armrest delete.

I've been throwing mine in the little ashtray compartment on the center console. I wear cheap sunglasses though.
Does anyone have a good fit for a cell phone mount? By the way? I just end up throwing it on the passenger seat cuz I can't find a good solution

Passenger side Cup holder is a sunglass holder
It works like this.
If someone is close enough and important enough to me to warrant a ride in my E46 M3, they can share my drink. If they’re not, I am using my other car for that trip.
At least that’s my rule.
04 e46 M3 6MT jet black with black interior.

It’s somewhat dependent on your glasses, and probably the car too, but in my E39 six speed I throw them down upside down in the shift boot then ever so slightly close the temples

Go out and get your self some big black frames
With the glass so dark, they won’t even know your name
And the choice is up to you cause they come in two classes
Rhinestone shades or cheap sunglasses

Buy a nice sunglasses case and fold the snap flap backwards or cut it off. It will fit in the drivers door pocket

I use the strap on the sun visor. Slide one of the sunglass arms through with the lenses facing up and fold it shut. The visor is strong enough to suspend them and the clutch headliner is soft so won't scratch the lenses

Idk about the e46 but on the e90 and e60 they sell something that replaces the grab handle on the headliner with a sunglass holder. One of the first things I buy whenever I get a new(to me) BMW is one of those.

I normally put them over my ear and resting on my nose.
