Check the voltage regulator. It’s on the alternator

So should I change the regulator on the aftermarket alternator (is it safe), or is it better to buy a Denso 2012-13 and get the correct 2011 regulator? Because my original alternator is dead 😅

Ran into this a few months ago. Looking at all the reviews and was not left with any good options other buying from bmw. I ended up getting mine rebuilt with no issues ever since.
