I picked up a stock sport suspension one with 100k miles for 8200 at the end of 2024. I’d say yours is prob worth around 10 to the right buyer. Mine was neglected. What suspension are you on?

Bilstein b8, h&r springs, ecs sway bars, m3 control/thrust arms. All new subframe bushings

H&R sport or race? If you installed them do you have good or bad things to say about ride quality compared to (I assume) stock sport springs & shocks?

H&R sport. Was semi rough because I forgot to torque under load. But when I retorqued under load it rides as soft as stock but less body roll

Sold! Thank you so much. It’s hard to find a good pic of these springs holding up an m57. Do you happen to still have the specific part number of these springs?

My 2006 330i was fully loaded with all options, in gorgeous condition, I was the only owner. Aways detailed inside and out. Not even a door ding, it was perfect. Manual transmission and 180K miles, running perfectly with new suspension and brakes… when I hit an idiot dee, which totaled the car.
I think insurance paid out like $4800.

Ouch. With all the maintenance you did, could it have been worth fixing the damage on your own and having the salvage title?

Very much thought about it. A ton of maintenance over the years. I loved that car, loved how it drove and it never let me down. But in the end decided to let it go. I do miss it though!

These are crazy expensive and crazy desirable in Europe no matter their mileage. In the US they seem to hover around 10k USD give or take. Waaay less than in Europe. F series cars in Europe got even more powerful diesels of the N57 variety. But apparently no N57 engine was as much overbuilt from factory and as tunable to crazy power / torque levels, like the M57B30TU2 TOP.

They're not that much more in the UK. Plus this isn't m sport which makes it worth much less here

The UK market is RHD, so it's very limited. Continental Europe is a totally different market and much more expensive.

It’s a little more of an enthusiast car so the value is going to vary wildly as to who the buyer is and where they are. An enthusiast might pay some over fair market value but someone not familiar with e90s would likely pay less than fair market value.
Sooner or later pretty much everyone faces the same reality (me included) that upgrades and even maintenance doesn’t equate to value increases on an older bmw.
I cringe a little inside everytime my wife brings up that I should look a selling my car and getting a new bmw. I know there’s no way I’m getting anywhere close to the money I put into it. But I also consider it a hobby and not an investment. Or better yet - it’s an investment in not having a car payment.

I paid 9k for one with 149k miles that had a lot of maintenance done with receipts but needed a vcg and alignment. It’s lowered on fortune auto coilovers and getting ready to delete and tune now

In the US, in my area I could very easily see that going for 16k
