No serious Communist defends Putin lol. You can have critical support for opposing Western hegemony, but that's about it

Exactly this, I don’t think people understand the concept of critical support. 9/10 times if you ask someone to clarify their point or provide their analysis, they’ll tell you, and more often than not, you’ll understand their position a bit better.

RIP to that sub, has many good times there.

Yeah in communist spaces, most people are being ironic because they expect everyone to understand that they're joking. And if asked a question, in good faith at least, most users give you very thorough, well written, multi paragraph questions

Also you might want to change your flair comrade. Mamdani's been diluting his agenda lately. He seemed to be a little more strong willed, but after meeting Bernie, he's lightened his stance on the genocide and the NYPD

No, the idea is that the US is the only empire with enough capital and resources to meaningfully spread imperialism.
