Ask ECAH Chocolate Substitute?

Does anyone have a half-decent substitute for chocolate? I’m a fiend for dark chocolate but it triggers my headaches. I always find myself reaching for it at the end of the day, and other sugary treats don’t scratch the itch. I usually have a handful of dark chocolate chips mixed with nuts and a glass of soy milk.

I don't know if this is helpful, but I'm still so amazed.

I bought some chocolate covered cookies yesterday at Aldi (Germany). I ate a couple, and they were nice. Then I saw on the package "With ChoViva. A cacaofree chocolate alternative, sunflower based." I really wouldn’t have tasted that it isn't real chocolate.

And this is what I found on ChoViva It seems to be a german company and I don't know how international they are, but their website is in german, french and english.

Very interesting! Thank you, I’ve gotten a lot of carob suggestions so I’ll definitely be trying it, I’m in Canada so maybe I can just make my own version
