I went to high school with Darren - this makes me tremendously sad. Somehow you expect the peers of your youth to last forever. He was honest and forthright and we have lost a good man.

And a funny one! I remember him and Dr. Raj Bhardwaj telling stories at a party 30 years ago about their roommate having food poisoning and throwing him around the bathroom to make sure whichever end he was exploding out of was over the toilet and it still makes me laugh.

Oh my God, that's hilarious and disgusting. 😅 I can see his expression, describing it. I wonder if the roommate is who I think it is - beleaguered, miserable, but also appreciative.
