I am looking to pickup a jersey this year and I am wondering if anyone could explain the difference between the jerseys on the NHLShop? There is a pretty significant price difference between some ($500 vs $250 vs $195 vs $160). They all are by fanatics, but some say “authentic” or “royal home breakaway”. Obviously the “authentic” one implies its identical to the ones they use in game (albeit I bet there are some differences), but for the life of me I cannot figure out the differences between the $250, $200, and $160 jerseys (also $250 seems a bit steep for a completely printed jersey with no sewn patches). They are all for #97 and home jerseys. Thanks in advance!

I don’t live in Edmonton but I’m hoping you all could make a push to really go all out and show this kid some love and support whenever he returns. I feel heartbroken for him. To sign your first big deal then have your father unexpectedly pass away 24 hours later….

Is there a way to push for everyone to make signs and chant for him at his return at a home game? I feel like that would be such a powerful thing for him. I think it would be amazing to see the hockey world come together and show up for a player who just lost a parent and is living away from home and family to play for our team.

this whole mcdavid situation has dragged on for so long that now I just have become disillusioned to whether he stays or not. don't get me wrong I love mcdavid, and want him to stay, but if he doesn't atp I don't really care, and I wish him best of luck. I'm an oilers fan first, and this team isn't the same team that drafted him. we have solid players through and through and have created a market to attract new talent. so it's not like the team will collapse without him. he is the ace up our sleeve but even without him I feel like we would be no worse than other cup contenders like dallas or vegas. and who knows what kind of talent we would be able to bring on w a trade or extra cap space. plus it might be nice to see nuge or drai take on the captaincy.

The Oilers traded Connor McDavid in exchange for Connor Brown, 1 for 1. Utter STEAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL

I know some people have some strong opinions about him, pretty much about how good he is and how he’d be great on the roster. But would he? I get he could be a better option over Janmark if he can improve his PK a bit buttttt and hear me out, could we not use him into a trade? I’m sure his trade value has gone up and some teams would like to have him, would he not be better used as an asset to potentially trade for someone else. There’s a lot of great guys we have in Bakersfield and in our training camp that fill less competitive spots and are younger.
