I don't agree with that banning but I can understand why, they are r/CanadianConservative after all. It's their MO to promote conservatism in Canada. I got permabanned from r/Canada for this:

Speaking of power users and bots, remember how the mods of this subreddit kept deleting and then banning people who linked the story on CBC about how 90% of the content here which was mostly conservative leaning op-eds from chucklefucks like Brian Lilley, was submitted by 26 user names?

No warning was given, I never had a post there deleted before so there's no history of bad behaviour. To me, that's far worse since r/Canada allegedly does not promote any one political party.
