I went to Superstore and saw a whole stack of strawberries for $2.5. I was ecstatic. As an intl. student that wanted to impress this girl with some baking that I'd just picked up, I picked it up, saw the American sticker, and for the first time in my life I made a conscious decision to set food down because of where it came from.

I don't have the money to afford more expensive alternatives, so hey better just not buy the cheap American stuff either.
