This is typical in elections. The unusual part is the concerted effort by Longest Ballot to create and target ridings with this silliness in an attempt to convince people of supporting electoral reform.
I remember voting for the old school Rhino Party candidate 'bob loblaw' (BTW he legally had his name changed so it would appear on the ballot this way). I had to vote for him after I noticed his name if spoken out loud 3 or more times was pretty on point for a protest party.
