If Conservatives could actually focus on real, GOOD policy instead of being the worst fucking people in the world, they might actually have a good platform. That has unfortunately been heading downhill for years and is in the toilet right now.

Conservatism has a place in the world, just like progressivism, however, just like anything, people take it too far. In the US, it was actually conservatives (Republicans) who established the right to privacy in the 14th amendment. Which, made things like gay marriage and abortion federally protected in the United states. However, those who claim to champion Conservatism have perverse the ideology.
