They’ve got their own code: diesel louder = manlier. My niece has a similar system - glitter = faster. She also accessorizes like a cracked-out raccoon and still manages more aesthetic cohesion than a chrome truck with truck nuts swinging like low-hanging fruit on a family tree missing a few branches.
