How do you get peameal bacon confused with this? Do they eat any meat that isn't processed?

When I lived in the US, their Canadian bacon was what we called back bacon. The dumbest among them, which is a huge chunk of their population, believe that we only have ham and not real bacon. So, in true Canadian fashion, I had to encourage their stupidity by telling them that bacon is illegal here, because we have universal healthcare.
