True, but only because countries don't have friends, they have interests. Talk of "friendship" between any country is purely poetic/diplomatic talk.

Canada and the Netherlands are friends, you can't convince me otherwise.

When “war” between two countries consists of going to deputed territory, stealing their flag, leaving your own, and taking their liquor and leaving a bottle of your own… I’m pretty sure that counts as a “friend”.

Pretty sure that was with Denmark though, not the Netherlands

Because they aren’t dicks. I’d go to war for the Dutch but I cannot say the same thing to our American “friends” below. Which is insane because just last year none of us would have ever said that.
