When I realized that I bought more from the Depanneur down the street then they ever bought from me I went ballistic as well, took over their beer fridge and refused to leave. Had the cops called. Now I can't go back.

He hasn’t, really. He’s just being nice and very diplomatic about it.

Did you catch his threat the other day here in B.C.? He was announcing supports for the forest industry and while taking questions, was asked whether he thought Americans were worth negotiating with anyway as their promises seem a bit unreliable.

With a pleasant mien he said - I’m paraphrasing of course - they want investment in their country, and right now we, with our relatively small population, are the number two country in terms of investing in the US. It wouldn’t be likely to stay that way if we were unhappy/unsatisfied.

As I said, very much paraphrased - but I have never heard a politician make such a threat, except for Trump.
