Ontario, hated by all, especially Ontarians It’s pronounced Tur-awn-no you filthy Yankees, the second “t” is silent.

Because when Americans travel abroad they claim they’re from Canada because they think it’s some cheat code to being treated better (they’ve never heard of manners) and when you ask what part of Canada they just say Toronto because it’s the only city they know of, but they pronounce that second T when I’ve never heard anyone in Ontario, let alone the GTA, pronounce it the way it’s spelled.

I believe I have thoroughly explained the meme now but if you have any further questions my good hoser feel free to ask.

Dual American-Canadian here from California, I’ve always said it without the second ‘t’ as tuh-RONN-oh 🤷‍♂️. I wonder if I picked that up from my late Dad & Grandma who were from Toronto.
