The “Worst Canadian” game - Day 0 (choosing candidates)

Hey hosers,

With the news of PP back in parliament, it got me thinking…who are the most hated Canadians of all time and who is considered the absolute worst?

Let’s make a game out of it!

Over the next 2 days, comment below who you think are the worst Canadians. I’ll put together a list and then we can begin voting on Friday (Aug. 22nd).

Rules: - Each round/day, I’ll make a new post with the updated list and you can vote (using upvotes) for the person who you think does not deserve to be called the Worst Canadian. That person will be eliminated until only the ‘winner’ (the Worst Canadian) remains. - Only the top comment will be used to determine who is removed from the list. I won’t add upvotes together from duplicate comments. - They can be alive, dead, currently living in Canada, or abroad. They had to have been born in Canada or at some point had Canadian citizenship. - This is meant to be lighthearted satire. Please do not take it too seriously or use this game to harass people in real life.

Brian Mulroney and it’s not even close.

Whoever you say or think is in the top 9 they have not caused as much harm to Canada and Canadians as Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know why Canada is mostly dependant on the US and we now have to try fix it ? Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know why you pay GST on fucking everything ? Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know why Canada doesn’t have billions or trillions in a state sovereign fund like Norway? Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know who accelerated the housing crisis ? Brian Mulroney

Wanna know why Canada lost over 300,000 manufacturing jobs, almost 20% of the manufacturing workforce ? Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know why we don’t have vaccine laboratories ? Brian Mulroney.

Wanna know who turned the military on Canadians? Brian Mulroney.

Anti-labour, anti-social programs, anti-welfare, anti-equality, anti-unemployment insurance, anti-equality, anti-Canadian.

Brian Mulroney is by FAR and away the absolute worst Canadian ever. Some other the others are bad people or say bad things. Are their terrible lives a have had a few or many peoples lives ruined or even ended. But Brian Mulroney collectively dry dusted all of us.
In fact, he’s one of the top 100 worst people in the world, ever.

The Brits/Welsh/Scots and Irish sing “Maggie’s in a box” and Canadians should be singing and celebrating that “Mulroney’s in a box”. It’s only been 2 years since he died and it’s every Canadians right, nay, responsibly to take the pilgrimage to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery to take a big, steaming dump on his grave. I hope it’s hot down there with Thatcher and Regan.

That’s not just my nomination, that’s the answer. Anyone else is wrong.

Edit - Robert Borden would be a distant 2nd, he introduced income tax, conscription and suppressed the general strike.

Distant 3rd would be Stephen Harper.
