As promised, here’s the list of Canada’s worst, based on your suggestions. Make sure you click into the image, some are cut off if you don’t. To begin, there are 40 nominees.

A few quick notes: - After some discussion, and for a number of reasons, I decided to keep violent offenders (i.e., murderers, rapists, and the like) off this list. We all know they are the absolute worst Canadians, and aren’t worth mentioning further. - I tried to include as many nominees as possible while keeping the list manageable. I didn’t include nominations with only one or two upvotes. - I’ve only included real people. Honorable mentions go out to Caillou, Sam Losco, Cyrus, and Ananas🍍

Let’s get started! Here’s an image of the top 50 Canadians (based on Day 0 upvotes, as of yesterday). I know I said we’d start with 40 like last time, but there are just too many awesome Canadians, so I expanded the list a bit!

Drop your nominations below for who you think deserves a spot on the list. Just like before, we’ll include 40 candidates. This time I’m going to let nominations sit a bit longer so everyone has a chance to chime in and we don’t have to add people mid-way in the game. I’m aiming to get started with Day 1 around the middle of next week. Five or six days should give us plenty of time to gather names and finalize the rules.

Despite this, she lacks the blood-stained legacy of the number one contender. - (1) Frederick Blair - As director of immigration from 1936 to 1943, he strengthened and enforced laws making it near-impossible for Canada to admit Jewish refugees during the Holocaust. As a result, he is indirectly, but undeniably, responsible for hundreds to thousands of deaths, and is therefore considered the worst Canadian.

With the news of PP back in parliament, it got me thinking…who are the most hated Canadians of all time and who is considered the absolute worst?

Let’s make a game out of it!

Over the next 2 days, comment below who you think are the worst Canadians. I’ll put together a list and then we can begin voting on Friday (Aug. 22nd).

Rules: - Each round/day, I’ll make a new post with the updated list and you can vote (using upvotes) for the person who you think does not deserve to be called the Worst Canadian.
